Email Servers

Develec’s email server has been replaced with a new, more reliable, secure server, dedicated exclusively to our clients. You can choose between two webmail interfaces or you can use an email client (e.g. Outlook). Please read this carefully because it will explain how the email system works and it will help you to make the change to our server easily, without losing any emails.

The New Servers

You will need to add a new mail account to your mail client.
Incoming and outgoing emails are handled differently. The outgoing email server is called a SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) server whilst the incoming email server (your mailbox) uses POP3 (Post Office Protocol version 3).
You can change your outgoing email settings for an existing account on the new server.
